Become a miller
Training as a miller: put your own spin on the mill!
The Netherlands is a mill country, everyone knows that. Windmills, clogs and tulips are still the calling card of the Netherlands in the 21st century. It seems like a strange world, but everyone is welcome. From young to older, everyone with energy in their body. Men and women with an interest in technology, history and people.
You may not think about it, but there are all kinds of windmills. For each his own. Flour mills in villages and towns, industrial mills where oil is beaten, wood is sawn, paper is made. And how about a polder mill, with which you can grind the water from the polder after a downpour? In Gouda we have two flour mills and two polder mills
If you are interested in running a mill, you can receive training at the Mallemolen. You can follow theory and practice in your own time and pace. After obtaining your diploma, you can start working at one of the mills. Alone or together with other enthusiastic millers, who come from all walks of life. The mill world is there for all of us.
